Steven Gerrard’s cousin Bobby Duncan confirms Manchester City exit as he prepares for Liverpool move

Steven Gerrard’s cousin is set move from Manchester City to Liverpool after announcing his departure from the Premier League champions.

Bobby Duncan, who has represented England at Under-17 level, has been on City’s books for the last six years.

The youngster could be moving to Liverpool

Due to a contract dispute with City the youngster didn’t play any academy football last season but represented the Three Lions.

Now he has departed tohe Etihad and is expected to follow his cousin and Anfield icon Steven Gerrard in wearing the red of Liverpool.

In a statement posted to his Instagram account, Duncan said: “It’s been an amazing 6 years at Manchester City.

“It was a difficult decision for me and my family but the time is right for a new challenge and to fulfil my dreams and potential elsewhere.”
