Cavani scored earlier in the game to draw level with PSG’s all-time top goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and a second strike would have seen him become undisputed goal king of Paris.

The Uruguayan won the penalty after he was fouled in the box by Cedric Yambere but despite fans screaming for Cavani to have his moment, Neymar converted the penalty himself to grab his fourth goal of the night.
