Usman Mohammed, Azeez Adeleke, and Solomon Odiya, three male robbery suspects, were apprehended by the Alausa division of the Lagos State Police Command while fleeing with their loot after dispossessing their victims of their belongings.
The culprits were apprehended at around 20:45 on Sunday, June 19, 2022, after the police got a distress call about an ongoing robbery at Mobolaji Johnson Ikeja.
The items recovered from the suspects include a cell phone, a knife, and 5,400 Naira in cash.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspects had operated in the area many times in the past, stealing from unsuspecting pedestrians. At the completion of investigations, suspects will be arraigned in court.
The Commissioner of Police for Lagos State, CP Abiodun Alabi, has assured Lagosians that the command would continue to do all operationally feasible to protect life and property in Lagos State.
