Laura Ikeji writes book on how to make money on Instagram

Social media influencer and mum of one, Laura Ikeji Kanu, has revealed her newest project, a book titled “How to Make Money on Instagram“.


After teasing her followers for the past couple of days, she unveiled the book on Instagram saying:

Few years ago I joined Instagram and started posting pictures. I went from 100 followers to 1k followers, and 1k to 5k and from 5k to 20k, I was tagged as attention seeking and loud, some said annoying and many called me jobless. Lol, I disregarded all the smerk talks and continued to make my page fun, I introduced videos, fun videos, dance videos, happy vidoes that made people look at me differently, and kept them glued to my page. And my followers went from 20k to 50k . As soon as I got to 50k my life changed, I was getting freebies like crazay, a few people recognised me in public and I made my first N100k from just posting fun videos.

Fast forward.. Went from 50k to 500k, now almost 700k. everything I get is free, l make a lot of money, different endorsements, different paid ads, opened my dream fashion store, thousands of young people get inspired by Me and I got famous from just dedicating my time to this platform called Instagram.

Meet Florida teen who took 5 bullets for his classmates

A teen at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School faces a “long road ahead” after he was hit five times shielding his classmates from the attacker’s bullets.

Anthony Borges, a 15-year-old soccer player, put his body between shooter Nikolas Cruz and his fellow students on Wednesday, according to survivors of the massacre that killed 17.

“None of us knew what to do. So, he took the initiative to just save his other classmates,” his friend Carlos Rodriguez told ABC News.
Rodriguez said that Borges was the last student who fled into a classroom to hide, and blocked bullets from hitting others by standing in the doorway as he tried to lock the room shut.
Borges then called his father to tell him he’d been shot.

The Broward County Sheriff’s office said that the boy hailed as a “hero” by classmates who survived uninjured had been shot five times.

“Fortunately, he is recovering — but has a long road ahead with more surgeries needed,” it posted on Facebook Sunday, adding that Sheriff Scott Israel was “honored” to visit him.

Borges was the last wounded victim of the shooting to be in critical condition, but has since been updated to fair.

A GoFundMe page for the Borges family had raised more than $65,000 as of Sunday night.

‘Photo: Man who stole N1m aboard Air Peace flight to be docked today

The Lagos Airport Police Command will on Monday arraign a male suspect, identified as Kunle Oni, who allegedly stole N1, 008,000 aboard an Air Peace flight from Abuja to Lagos
The spokesperson for the command, DSP Joseph Alabi, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos that the suspect, who identified himself in a video, would be arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court for stealing.

Alabi said the suspect, who lives in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, allegedly stole the sums of N504, 000, N350, 000 and N154,000 aboard the flight.

He said the monies belonged to one Mr Olaniye and Mr Abubakar Jimoh, who were his co-passengers on board the flight.

Alabi said the suspect was apprehended by vigilant passengers and crew while pilfering from luggages aboard the flight, at about 11am on Saturday.

According to him, the suspect was thereafter handed over to the command upon landing in Lagos for investigation and prosecution.

Man Hides N80M Indian Hemp Inside Bibles, Fruits And Bags In Lagos

A man has been caught with Indian hemp worth about N180 million hidden inside some Bibles and other containers.

According to a Sunday Vanguard report, the police in Mushin, Lagos have raided the hideouts of suspected criminal in Akala area leading to the seizure of bails of Indian hemp hidden in Bibles, fruits and bags valued at N80million.

During the raid carried out by a combined team of the Divisional Police Officers of Mushin Area Command, several shanties allegedly used as hideouts by criminals were destroyed.

A source told Sunday Vanguard that the Area Commander, Area D, Mushin, ACP Akinbayo Olasoji, led the DPOs under his jurisdiction for the operation.

The source added that investigation was ongoing to unravel those behind the Indian hemp.
