Design and Display

Oppo smartphones to an extent are nice looking devices with solid ergonomics. The Oppo A79 smartphone has a 18:9 aspect ratio which as you know as a way giving a smartphone that premium build. The smartphone is also made out of metal and features reduced top and bottom bezels with no side bezels.

There’s a nice crisp display in the Oppo A79 smartphone as it features an AMOLED panel with a good enough resolution. The smartphone sports a massive 6.0-inch 2160 X 1080 pixels resolution display with a pixel density of 401ppi. If you have used an AMOLED screen you would have noticed the nice contrast with ample colour reproduction. Most of the modern day smartphone features a battery capacity in the 3000-4000 mAh battery capacity. The Oppo A79 features a 3000 mAh non removable Li-Po battery, which on an average should be able to last close to a day on normal usage.

This Oppo A79 is one of those smartphones that features the same camera pixel configuration on both the front and back. It comes with a 16MP rear camera with a F/1.8 aperture and a front facing 16MP camera with a F/2.0 aperture. This is good enough for a smartphone in this category and can definitely be used for your social media functions.

    YouTube suspends ads from video star Logan Paul’s channels

    YouTube has temporarily suspended all ads from video star Logan Paul’s channels after what it calls a pattern of behavior unsuitable for advertisers.

    In an emailed statement, YouTube said that the videos on Paul’s channels are also “broadly damaging to the broader creator community.”

    Last month, Paul posted video of himself in a forest near Mount Fuji in Japan near what appeared to be a body hanging from a tree. YouTube suspended the 22-year-old at the time for violating its policies. But Paul returned, and has since posted a video of himself using a Taser on dead rats.     Its no news that South Korean giant Samsung introduces new devices in its Galaxy line up every year. This year is no different and speculations about the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ have already begun to emerge.

    According to information obtained by sources close to the South Korean giant Samsung ,the price will increase by $100 in each of the models, compared to last year’s models.

    The Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F) will be offered for $899, while the S9+ (SM-G965F) will cost $999. The previous models, Galaxy S8 and S8+ cost, respectively, 799 and 899 dollars.

    I think preorders may start around March 2nd and, from March 16, the new devices will be available on stores.

    Samsung is expected to add Lilac Purple to its list of colour offerings for its top-end device. This joins the already expected Midnight Black, Titanium Gray and Coral Blue.
